Van Features

Nick Bailey lives in the Lower Swansea Valley with his wife June.  He bought his pre face lift 1900 cc short wheel base T4, twelve months ago.  He proceeded to transform the ex carpenters van by painting it Fiat Funky Orange with a Black roof and pillars.  To finish off the exterior, Moon Hare stickers were added, and Oak leaf design to run along the sills.  The van was named ‘Awen’.
The interior of the van is in grey leatherette, with a traditional Camper layout, consisting of Smev cooker and sink, Norton Conversion Units and Cannon Forge 3/4 bed with matching material.

Other modifications Nick has made are:-

So far ‘Awen’ has taken Nick and June on several camping trips, including a trouble free 2000 mile round trip to Scotland, which worked out economical too, with a 350 mile plus return on each full tank!!  Well, here at T4′s R Us we think ‘Awen’ is awesome!!

Nick does however have a to do list, which consists of painting dash and doorcards, a kickboard for the bed, interior window surrounds, gear stick and extension plus some of T4′s Audi style lights for the front.
Well, thank you Nick – it’s great to hear about your van – do keep us updated on your progress.
